Description: Protection is felt when one form holds another. There is a sensual
connection that is sensed. It is even more appealing when contrast comes into
play. The Smoothness of and the roughness of another.
This is a unique sculpture, only one is created by the artist.
Clayton Rhule a multidisciplinary designer born in Jamaica and currently based in Trinidad & Tobago. He was educated at the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts, in Jamaica where he majored in Sculpture. He later went on to do his Post Grad in Graphic Design at the Florence Design Academy in Italy. He has worked in the creative industry for over seventeen years, creating award-winning works for clients all over the Caribbean. His work is known for its simplicity and clarity. There is always a story within the details, always something for the viewer to relate to in a personal way. You could say that his work triumphs in its ability to be thoughtful. “For me, design is the ultimate exercise in play. To follow your intuition and then refine to create a beautiful outcome that has a purpose far beyond its function. That is the ultimate reward every time I create.”
