"Lov an bastè" means in creole "love in basse-terre". Basse-terre is the region of Guadeloupe where the artist is from. It is an invitation to dive into the ethereal dimension, where the love birds are dancing, singing and flirting at the sun set.
Artist bio:
Visual artist, singer, reiki practitioner and model, Daëna Ladeesse develops her practice at the intersection of music, contemporary art, and alternative medicine. Coming from a family of artists and healers, Daëna made contact with art and spirituality from an early age, thanks to her grandmother, Reiki master. Since then, she has cultivated this heritage and put the body and the work on energies at the center of her art. Her visions are embodied in a voluptuous universe made of nymphs, goddesses, and women with lascivious curves: a work around the feminine and sacred sexuality.
